LGBT friendly coaching
We're promoting a new aspect of our service this month. For ages, clients and friends have been saying that Resourceful Coaching should be making more of its links with the LGBT community - to offer services which are friendly, non-judgemental but at the same time truly independent. So we are launching a series of ads in the gay press and we're about to sponsor LGBT writing competition (more details to follow). And generally putting ourselves out an about a bit more.

Coaching for foster carers
Foster carers are an invaluable resource. We can't afford to be without them. Yet sadly each year we lose many excellent carers - because they reach a crisis of confidence, a state of exasperation or just feel overlooked and undervalued - and quit. Taking with them huge amounts of training investment, experience and knowledge. It's a terrible waste - and a great loss for children and young people!
Coaching can be a great way to show carers that you care! Our specialist knowledge of the sector means we understand the pressures and requirements on today's foster carers. And we know all about the type of children and situations they are needed to respond to.

Henrietta Bond's latest book, Ten top tips for Supporting Care Leavers has just been published by British Association for Adoption & Fostering (BAAF).
