Confidence training

Henrietta Bond, communications consultant, media trainer and coach draws on her extensive experience of helping people to communicate effectively in high pressure situations.

Our courses are: Highly interactive, stimulating and informative – with opportunities to practice new skills in a supportive environment

Our philosophy and approach: Confidence is not about brashness and being pushy or extrovert.

We believe people should build on their own strengths and styles.

Few people are naturally confident and many famous spokespeople and performers 'fake it until they make it'.

Building confidence/self esteem is a circular process. We share with skills and techniques which will help you leave situations with your self esteem boosted - so you will feel positive about future situations

Our methods

We use methods which have been effective and shown results in our own professional lives (as trainers, interviewers, radio and tv guests, speakers and performers etc ) and which our clients tell us work really well for them.

We draw on a range of approaches, including:

  • Transactional Analysis (TA)
  • Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
  • The Yerkes-Dodson Curve (an approach to optimising performance by finding the correct balance of stress/demand and creativity/performance)

and techniques from theatre skills and media training

How the course works

We use a range of exercises and activities to help participants relax and engage with the training. We use examples and role plays directly relevant to the participants' situations, but also some exercises to help them 'think outside the box' and learn tips and techniques from people in the public eye.
